Cyclecross Nationals are finally done and over with. Unfortunatley I was unable to make it out to RI this year, but thanks to some of my good friends from Disquisingindria.com and Full Vision Photography, we should be getting some pics from the race. And whats this!!! Out own Local Legend Hunter Pronovost from Anthem CCCC, took 12th in B mens. Not bad for starting with 200 other guys. Check back later for photos.

This past weekend Podiumhouse.com co sponsored its first race with Cheshire Cycle/Epic Velo. Cheshire Cross marked the first annual Cycle Cross race in Cheshire Connecticut. With 131 preregistered racers and some very hard working volunteers the event ran quite smoothly. Pictures and results of the race will be posted in a few days, so stay tuned.

Winding Trails Cycle Cross race went on. All the categories had huge fields, and lots of action packed racing was going on. It was 45 minutes of hell for all the riders. It was about 36 degrees, had a few spots of ice on the road sections causing a few to be taken away by ambulance. And those who did finish, wished that they had pushed themselves even harder after the race. Skip and W from Epic Velo were representing Cheshire in the C men Race, and Hunter from Anthem/Epic Velo raced in the B race, dropping out after having two technicals. Whats this?? Two races cancelled because the lack of volunteers, thats right, both Tokeneke, and Tour of the Hill Towns have been cancelled this year. Kinda upsetting because if they made a few phone calls to say Cheshire Cycle and Repair and to Podium House, we could have pulled together a crew to help out at the race. Well next year.........
